With a strong commitment to innovation and growth, we offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Accounting Specialist to join their team. Your New Role As an Asset Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing project and Asset Accounting tasks. Reporting to the Project & Asset Senior Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Providing accurate and timely reporting.
Offering accounting support to project managers and internal stakeholders.
Collaborating with Project Managers and Financial Analysts to ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
Monitoring Assets Under Construction (AUC) and liaising with relevant teams. What You'll Need to Succeed To excel in this role, you should have:
Demonstrated experience (+3 years) in the business and financial operations of a large commercial organisation or accounting firm, with exposure to accounting issues
Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards. Accredited membership with a professional accounting body in Australia (CPA Australia, CA ANZ) is desirable.
