About the role:
Building on our continued success and growth, NRC Australia is creating an experienced team for a suite of major rail infrastructure projects in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland.
We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join our growing team based in Brisbane, QLD.
In this role, you will work across a diverse project-based business, providing a high level of project co-ordination and administrative support across a range of internal projects/programs and client assignments.
What you will be involved in:
Undertake project management and administrative tasks across a range internal projects/programs and client assignments.
Effectively support the management and delivery of projects making yourself flexible and outcome focussed, with a willingness to complete varied project management and co-ordination tasks as required.
Organising, attending, participating in, and recording a variety of stakeholder meetings and workshops.
Reviewing and preparing presentation materials for meetings and workshops.
Providing administrative support as needed and reviewing/preparing project outputs and reporting.
Document control and coordinating the adequate storage of evidence and reporting related to the project or program.
Support the PMO team in managing the overall assignment, project schedule and budget – including forecast analysis, expenses – and reporting where necessary.
Ensuring adherence to project requirements and deadlines (both internally and to the client) for example through a project calendar and regular reminders.
Building strong client relationships across client assignments.
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential
Minimum of 3+years in project co-ordination, project support or office management experience within infrastructure, construction, or transport sectors.
Demonstrated experience working in a consultancy / client-facing environment.
High-level of attention to detail when listening to team members and collaborators.
Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to follow standards/procedures and ensure your activities are conducted in compliance with relevant administrative, financial, and corporate governance requirements.
Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively among competing priorities.
Strong IT proficiency – including MS Office applications.
Proficient in building positive relationships with senior stakeholders and technical subject matter experts.
Thrives in a busy, high-pressured environment.
Is a team player and will help out wherever they have the skills to do so.
Desirable
Prior experience in the delivery of railway projects.
Prior experience working with multidiscipline teams to deliver key tasks.
