About The Client:
Our client is a state Government Department responsible for planning, managing, and implementing Queensland's transport environment to provide sustainable transport solutions for road, rail, air, and sea.
Your opportunity:
In the role of Project Co-Ordinator, you will support the project manager across all core project management activities, promote best practices in project management and project administration disciplines, and contribute to the effective delivery of desired business outcomes.
- Research and analyze the data provided, evaluate options, and develop sound solutions consistent with the department's strategic directions.
- Assist with other project administrative requirements as requested, which may include governance activities such as functioning as a secretariat for key governance meetings.
- Assist the project manager with the preparation & coordination of project documentation, including business case documents and status reports, within a PRINCE2 environment, providing a quality assurance role over project artefacts.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, customers, and stakeholders (both internal and external) & professional coordination of multiple stakeholders to facilitate and manage Business Case requirements.
- Proven and extensive experience in the role of a Project Coordinator in a complex working environment
- 3+ years experience as a program/project Coordinator
- Good knowledge of PRINCE 2 methodology
