ROLE OVERVIEW
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project's commercial objectives in accordance with the head contract and project requirements. This includes administering subcontracts, professional services agreements, and supply agreements to achieve cost, time, and quality objectives.
The Contracts Administrator will also provide input to the financial management system and reporting and will generally support the Project Team in all commercial functions of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and approve the construction management plan in collaboration with the HSE manager, project manager, and construction manager.
- Review the quality management plan and update drawing and specification versions to ensure the most up-to-date construction plans are available.
- Manage project registers for variations, extensions of time, non-conformances, and trade letting procurement.
- Coordinate consultants for inspections and approvals throughout the construction program.
- Attend and minute project prestart and design meetings.
- Amend contract scopes of work to ensure subcontract quality objectives are included.
- Complete the site-specific environmental induction and support environmental objectives.
- Assist in community and stakeholder communication regarding environmental issues.
- Collate, review, and present financial reports.
- Develop and maintain project cash flow and turnover forecasts.
- Implement cost management and cost reporting processes.
- Monitor construction cost and progress against the program of works.
- Produce timely and accurate cost analysis and attend project reviews.
- Prepare insurance claims and ensure adequate insurances are in place.
- Support the development and refinement of commercial and contractual systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures and participate in audits.
