In this role, you will be working within the Service Delivery Projects team, providing high-level support to Project Leads in the delivery of DHA’s corporate and improvement initiatives. You will work within project management frameworks and manage/lead a small team. You will identify problems and establish solutions while working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. Great communication skills are central to this role, you will have great attention to detail and be highly organised to manage competing priorities and time sensitive objectives.
For this role, we will consider how well you:
- Review, manage and implement projects associated with corporate initiatives.
- Work under limited direction to develop project timelines, tools for efficiency and transparency, and provide guidance and engage with multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong positive working relationships.
- Perform research and analysis including contribution to the preparation of reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones and considering project and organisational outcomes.
- Undertake complex problem solving, perform research and analysis including identification of risks, drafting reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones.
- Contribute to the development and testing of process improvement initiatives, including risk assessment and risk management whilst liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Develop plans and objectives for short-term tasks and contributing to strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation, reports, submissions, papers and briefs on project matters for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage and manage stakeholders confidently, tailoring your style of communication to suit the audience, and develop relationships across the broader organisation, including as part of change management.
Eligibility requirements
The remuneration package includes a base salary and funded 15.4% superannuation. Employment with DHA is conditional on successful applicants demonstrating that they are an Australian citizen, meeting the required medical standards, and obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
