Due to an expansion within our ICT business services and fulfilment division, an exciting opportunity to bring on a new Junior Project Coordinator has become available.

As a Project Coordinator with Efiniti, you will join an experienced team of specialists in delivering large scale Enterprise projects and programs, ensuring an excellent customer centric experience and on time delivery. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and management of transition activities for business level customers. You will be required to identify customer ICT requirements, create and manage customer work orders and provide support to facilitate a smooth transition from legacy access networks onto modern technology networks.

Our projects are telecom based, so a background in the telecom industry is highly desirable however not essential and candidates with experience in project coordination/management or related fields will also be considered. 

Your responsibilities as a Project Coordinator:

  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to understand and document their business needs and objectives, ensuring clear communication and aligning expectations.
  • Performing in-depth analysis of existing processes, procedures, and work practices, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks hindering productivity.
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions, including streamlined workflows, optimized system functionalities, and best practices, to drive operational excellence.
  • Leveraging project management methodologies to create comprehensive project plans, estimate costs, allocate resources effectively, and ensure project delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Championing quality assurance by designing and executing thorough test plans, guaranteeing the functionality, integrity, and user-friendliness of deployed systems.
  • Empowering users through the creation of clear and concise user documentation and delivery of engaging training sessions, facilitating seamless adoption of new technologies.
  • Owning the requirements analysis for one process and segregating requirements into needs, wants and expectations.
  • Bridging the gap between business and technology by translating user requirements into detailed functional specifications for developers, ensuring accurate system design and development.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and central information source, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to informed decision-making at all levels.

Are you the right fit?

We are looking for candidates with the following experience but not limited to:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills; a customer centric approach.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, including a personable and professional phone manner and the ability to explain technical issues using non-technical jargon.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a level of technical aptitude.
  • Experience in project delivery/management or Knowledge and understanding of project-based fundamentals.
  • Experience in a telecom related field or Knowledge and understanding of telecom networks and systems.
  • Proficient in operating a computer system to send/receive emails and prepare reports utilising business grade software.
  • Highly motivated and possesses a positive attitude.
  • Experience in servicing business, enterprise and government customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
  • Sharp decision-making skills with an ability to take initiative and command ownership.
