KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Plan:
- Contribute to production of the documents and plans that govern the project delivery
- Ensure that plans are in line with project, business and legislative requirements.
- Review and understand project specifications and drawings, identify and address any ambiguities.
Deliver:
- Compile or contribute to accurate scopes of work for subcontracts.
- Review subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Ensure subcontract and supply agreements are in line with project and company contractual and technical requirements.
- Assist in resolving design and coordination issues.
- Coordinate with others to achieve engineering requirements, such as shop drawing approvals, 3rd party inspections, temporary works controls, etc.
- Engage with and understand the activities undertaken on site.
- Review and understand short and mid-term programs for project.
- Support the Site Manager in the management of subcontractor site activities
Record, Report & Review:
- Maintain and manage site records, documentation and registers, in line with project-specific roles and responsibilities.
- Take appropriate action to ensure that required records are compiled and closed out in a timely and organised manner.
- Prepare for and assist with project auditing.
- Produce accurate and transparent reporting of the technical, progress and quality status of the project through the monthly project controls report and any other required means.
- Provide accurate and transparent reporting on any other control information required.
- Timely identification of project risks, opportunities and mitigations.
- Recognise, document, and review variances to the project plans with the Project Manager and implement actions as necessary.
Complete:
- Ensure the timely and organised compilation of deliverables prior to PC
Lead:
- Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals.
- Foster positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and other 3rd parties.
- Attend and document meetings and forums necessary to achieve the delivery of the project
Support the business:
- Identify trends, contribute to lessons learnt and the continuous improvement of the business.
- Undertake allocated training and further own professional development
General:
- Managing a diverse range of activities involving a high volume of work, frequent deadlines, multiple stakeholders. This includes working independently but also co-operatively as part of the Accounts Team.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes to in relation to legislative and administrative requirements across the range of finance and accounting services risk and compliance activities.
- Anticipating and effectively addressing potentially sensitive issues and risks to operational performance and financial sustainability.
- Liaising with your direct reports to ensure members understand their roles and obligations and commit to timelines for reporting.
- Ensuring policies, processes and plans are in place to manage financial risk to an acceptable level.
