Greenacres is one of the leading disability service providers in the region, providing services and programs from 24 different sites in Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Shoalhaven. Each week, we support over 600 people to live the life they imagine by delivering a range of person-centered services. We have been doing this across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for over 70 years.

About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Time (Fixed-term 12 months) Project Coordinator to join our Enterprises and Ability, Skills, and Knowledge Department. You will project manage the requirements of a Grant we have received, evolving the supported employment sector in line with future guiding principles. This includes innovative approaches to:
- Support people with high support needs to progress towards their employment goals
- Create pathways to open employment
- Better meet community expectations
- Create sustainable employment opportunities for people with disability
- Provide support to Open Employers
- Provide ongoing support to participants who transition into open employment positions
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement all Grant Activities to achieve stated outcomes, ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Complete Grant Activities within scope, quality, timeframes, and budget as defined in the Activity Work Plan.
- Write Activity Work Plan Progress Reports for Greenacres management approval before submission to the Commonwealth representative.
- Support 23 participants by the end of the funding period, demonstrating the need for an Open Employer Liaison & Ongoing Support Officer position post-grant.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centered outcomes according to NDIS plan work goals and participants' cultural needs.
- Develop skill development and work experience programs, including Cert II Hospitality and related courses.
- Provide ongoing support in open employment settings for both employers and new employees.
- Develop a monthly Calendar of Cultural Cooking Events and coordinate training for CALD, Indigenous Cultural Awareness, and LGBTQIA+ Awareness with People and Culture.
- Ensure compliance with all WHS Policy/Procedures, including risk assessments for programs and activities.
Key Relationships
- Promote Greenacres Your Employment Pathways program and Grant Activities to participants, families, and the community.
- Collaborate with the Greenacres Marketing team, People and Culture, and external partners.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with family carers and other service providers.
The operations and services provided by Greenacres is governed and assessed against the NDIS, ‘National Disability Insurance Scheme’ Guidelines and Practice Standards. You must clearly understand, adhere and deliver quality services aligned to the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct.
