Your New Company:
You will be joining a Hospitality and Retail Developer, who over the past decade have went from strength to strength, having weathered the recent pandemic and have come out the other side with ambitious expansion plans for the next 5 years.
They currently own 50 developments across Australia and plan to double this across the next 5 years, with a portfolio that includes well-known brands, including restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Your New Role:
You will be joining the development team as a Contract Administrator, where you will assist both the development managers and project managers, within a role where the plan is for you to develop into either of these areas within the next 12 – 18 months.
Within this role, some of your responsibilities may include:
Undertake applications and reporting to obtain development/regulatory approvals for works to new and existing sites.
Assist with briefing designers for new venue plans, collating and incorporating internal and external stakeholder feedback. Perform detailed review on all plans and documentation, with responsibility for accuracy and completeness.
Manage ongoing amendments with designers to final construction documentation.
Manage tender process of major fit-out components including construction, kitchen, AV, furniture and signage. Administer project budgets and the project cost report.
Coordinate and liaise with key project stakeholders (landlord, contractors, authorities) for successful completion of projects on time and budget.
Talk with operations teams about ongoing maintenance requirements, assist with scoping up and managing works. Maintain R&M register.
Develop regular maintenance plans for key elements of venues.
Perform building management services for Sporting Globe Head Office building, including all tenant correspondence and management, leasing, maintenance, OH&S, fire safety and cleaning.
Project manage any further development or works required to the Head Office building.
Oversee setting up initial accounts with Sky Racing, Foxtel, TAB and other suppliers for new venue developments.

In terms of qualifications, skills and experience, the following would be ideal:
Degree in Project/Construction Management, or Cert IV in Building & Construction.
Previous experience within contract administration and project planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate.
A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
