UGL is currently seeking interest from a Project Cost Controller to join our onsite team in Kwinana, WA. This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a specialised and diverse team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customer.
About the role
The Project Cost Controller is a key role to the Team, reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will provide Cost Control support to the project and Engineering team, through effective monitoring and management of all costs. You will be responsible for developing the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecasts with input from the Project Team and track actual costs against the forecast through the utilisation of the Maintenance CMMS.
You will also support auditing and performance management activities, led by the Project Controls Manager.
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- 2- 4 years of Cost Control experience in the resource development, oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries
- Possess eye for detail and accuracy with numbers is essential
- Excellent general computer literacy skill – Specialising in Excel and Power Bi Skills
- Exposure to working in a major project environment with a multi-disciplinary team
- Basic knowledge capability with SAP for cost reporting
- Experience in development of cost control reports and tracking/collating Project Costs
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
