Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Development Director to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of cutting-edge Renewable Energy Projects throughout Australia.
Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and assessing potential Renewable Energy project opportunities, conducting site selection studies, and evaluating project feasibility.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, creating timelines, and managing budgets effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governmental authorities, local communities, landowners, and industry partners to foster strong relationships and facilitate approvals, permits, and community support.
  • Staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving energy regulations and environmental requirements in Australia, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing proactive strategies to mitigate potential challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Remaining at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies in the Renewable Energy sector, driving innovation within the team and proposing solutions for enhanced project efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management, with a strong focus on Renewable Energy Projects.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale projects, showcasing exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian energy market, regulatory landscape, and environmental requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective management of a wide range of stakeholders and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to proactively address challenges and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • A passion for sustainability and a deep commitment to driving positive change in the energy industry.
