This role will see you run a $130M project from initiation to completion and achieve the final goal of the safe efficient running of our state-of-the-art facility.
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the new site build for our Selleys manufacturing facility in Padstow.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a fantastic communicator who understands the importance of strong stakeholder communication at all levels. Some responsibilities of this role will include:
- Lead a project team of people and ensure their objectives are aligned to the business program. Agree development plans
- Collaborate with the business Project Manager to translate business requirements into design specifications, considering the overall vision of the site and Board approved business case
- Understand, manage, and drive the process of obtaining appropriate approvals and compliance from Local and State Government and other external bodies.
- Oversee and manage external architects, engineering firms, and building companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project, while meeting business requirements.
- Plan and support the commissioning of the new factory, including resolving commissioning issues.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, project management or a related field
- Strong leadership capability having led people in senior supply chain and/ or manufacturing disciplines
- A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects over $100M
- Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, permits, and compliance requirements in the construction industry
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools
