Our client is the newly created provider of centralised supply chain and procurement to Victoria’s public health service. They pride themselves on bringing the innovation, agility and focus on commercial outcomes of the private sector to their role of delivering best-value equipment and services to Victoria’s Health Sector.
Right now, they are looking to engage a Project Director to lead the integration of multiple supply chain processes and systems. This involves combining multiple streams of work into an aligned programme that will deliver the outcome our client's need.
This is a senior role in the organisation, driving a critical programme. You will need to be a highly experienced Project Director with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills as well been able to ensure the fundamental project requirements are delivered.
Key skills/experience required will include:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in programme management of large-scale systems integration
Effective stakeholder engagement at an Executive level
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within both programme and Project teams and across business units
Project Management training / certification
Strong understanding of Change Management in the successful deliver of projects.
Ability to manage all aspects of the programme, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing financial management activities
Ability to negotiate and manage conflict
Strong leadership skills to ensure the project team is productive and cost effective
Strong ability to manage individual and team performance
Ability to document and communicate the status of program against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
Ability to think conceptually and drive practical solutions
Prior experience and knowledge of Supply Chain Systems, with a focus on warehousing
You will need to display an organised and systematic approach to work with high attention to detail. Additionally, the ability to form strong working relationships with a diverse group of customers and stakeholders will be critical to your success.
