On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an experienced Project Director - PMO Expert to join the Service Design and Improvement Team and deliver key projects and programs. This is a 12 month assignment, based in Richmond or Geelong and will be paying $754.20 per day plus Super.
The Project Director will coordinate and assume responsibility of complex and sensitive projects, and will be responsible for initiating and maintaining strong relationships across both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include;
- Organise and lead project discussions and workshops
- Utilise data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse operational performance
- Set strategic direction and priorities for the portfolio area
- Develop and deliver optimisation initiatives to support service improvement
- Prepare and manage a range of written material including business case, briefs, submissions and other corporate documentation
- Previous experience leading a PMO, Transformation or large program of work
- Proven end to end portfolio delivery experience
- Strong ownership and management of program reporting and schedule management
- Formal project management certifications
