Project Director

As a Project Director in Jacobs Program & Project Delivery Solutions group, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering large and complex tenders and projects, providing leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, primarily in the Transport market sector. Based in Perth, you will have extensive experience with the management and delivery of Design & Construct (D&C) rail and roads projects with a background in construction or consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and a passion to:

• Lead the preparation and submission of major project bids, contributing to the growth of the business through effective business development activities.
• Play a pivotal role in business growth by actively engaging in business development activities, establishing and nurturing client relationships.
• Deliver complex D&C projects and provide guidance to project teams, including project managers, offering support during project delivery. This involves advising on commercial, contractual, and project management activities.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support project managers in resolving complex project issues, serving as a point of escalation with clients.
• Oversee the management of time, budget, and change, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within specified parameters.
• Monitor project performance and provide strategic reports to senior leadership teams, offering insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of junior staff by providing mentorship and guidance based on your wealth of experience.
