Position Overview: As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering project management solutions to our clients in the Australian oil and gas market. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering project management solutions on time, on budget, within scope, and with high quality to our clients.
- Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including client representatives.
- Creating detailed work plans which identifies and sequences delivery activities.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Managing/coordinating the interface between Vendors / Contractor’s (both Designer and Constructions) / owner’s team.
- Interfacing with internal functional team (FEED, Procurement, HSE, ICT etc.); Understand, establish the requirement of various aspects and execute in accordance with agreed procedure and process.
- Managing various packages / Vendors that applicable to the scope (both technical scope and non-technical scope)
Requirements:
- Tertiary engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Highly preferable oil and gas experience, with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Currently residing or intending to reside in Brisbane.
- Natural ability to manage budgets and schedules.
- Coal Seam Gas project experience is an asset.
- EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management) experience is valued.
- Experience in overseeing Contract Packages for oil & gas facilities.
- Experience in Project Controls in an engineering firm environment.
