Downer has a long-standing partnership with Logan Water, WSP and Stantec to deliver asset management, infrastructure planning, design and project delivery for the City of Logan. This award-winning program is fast-paced, stable and highly rewarding.
THE ROLE
Due to significant growth and exciting future projects, our Logan Water team are seeking professional Civil Engineers in full-time, permanent capacity based on site in Beenleigh. Reporting to the Project Manager, our Engineers are empowered and developed to ensure the successful provision of technical expertise, guidance and advice on the delivery of construction projects.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on end-to-end construction projects.
- Participate in review processes to deliver value for money.
- Contribute to project performance and progress reporting.
- Ensure that "lessons learnt" during project completion are recorded and communicated to the wider team.
- Assist with negotiations of the purchasing and engagement of suppliers and subcontractors.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong track record of Site based engineering experience (water experience highly regarded).
- The ability to manage subcontractor relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgeting.
- Experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery and the ability to contribute to a cohesive and positive team environment.
