Our Engineering Construction division provides large-scale multidisciplinary project management and construction services. Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry's leading operators.
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction Division supporting the Pre-Contracts Manager based in our Brisbane Office at Milton. This integral position will entail joining a cohesive and high performing team who are directly impacting the success of the business every day.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience working in an on-site project delivery engineering position, servicing the resources sector
- Strong and clear written and technical skills, ideally with experience in the generation of work scopes, assessment of design and engineering documents, and evaluation of major supplier and subcontractor proposals
- An innovative approach to technical problem-solving, continuous improvement and construction methodology
- Front end engineering experience working within a pre-contracts function ideally across construction project work
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ideally some exposure to utilising Primavera P6 and 3D Modelling
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
