Form of workQetra is a Western Australian multi-disciplinary contractor, providing services to the resources, energy, and infrastructure industries. We provide a range of solutions from fabrication through to management, construction, inspection and commissioning.
Due to ongoing expansion and pipeline of work, Qetra are seeking a motivated Project Engineer's to join the team in delivering fabrication, assembly and construction projects.
Roles:
- SMP Project Engineer
- E&I Project Engineer
Duties include:
- Interpretation of drawings and developing take-offs
- Problem solving technical and project issues
- Management of procurement and subcontractors
- Develop, review and submission of project documentation and MDR
- Monitor and report on cost control, progress, quality, safety
- Development and assessment of tender packages
- Manage scope creep and variations
Primarily located at office/workshop in Wangara, with site based works as per project requirements
Required:
- Current C class WA license
- Strong capability in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree qualified
- 5 years industry experience in fabrication and construction
Desired:
- Experience with scheduling in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- Clear understanding of Australian Standards
