Council is offering: Generous salary above award up to $108,430.40dependant on experience Flexible working arrangements, 35 hours per week, 9 day fortnight, including weekends for exhibitions and events The chance to make a genuine positive contribution to the local community As a Project Engineer, you will focus on delivering project management and contract management services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Provide project management and contract management services for the Assets and Infrastructure Services Department. Plan and program capital works activities. Prepare contracts, tenders, and specifications.
Develop project plans, estimates, and job packages. Manage external grant funding applications and administration. Assist with contract road maintenance services on behalf of the Roads and Maritime Services.
Support survey and design services. Assist with asset management system data collection, storage, and reporting. Coordinate road resumptions, service alterations, acquisitions, and other necessary changes.
Ensure compliance with roadside environmental management practices. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans relevant to the department.
