About the role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as integrity, maintenance and construction related work programs. The role is offered as a permanent full-time position.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a qualified Project Engineer to be responsible for the delivery of high-quality projects. The role will involve project delivery, client management, schedule and budget management and a high level of involvement in the technical aspects of the projects.
Duties:
- Manage multi-disciplined engineering projects within the local Energy and Resources industry.
- Coordinate resources and project related work across the business unit
- Provide technical advice to internal staff, clients, contractors and / or consultants as required.
- Actively drive and participate in tender and proposal preparation.
- Monthly reporting on project performance against budgets and schedule
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Project Engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of multiple simultaneous and competing projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Upstream oil and gas experience is desirable
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work
