PROJECT ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our team responsible for the upgrade of the North Rockhampton Sewage Treatment plant.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role will work with a dynamic team delivering an upgrade to the North Rockhampton Sewage Treatment Plant on behalf of Rockhampton regional council.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role will be responsible for liaising with the project team to plan, coordinate and deliver the works under contract. This will include the review of technical documentation, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, assisting with procurement and subcontracts, conducting inspections and maintaining the project quality management system.

WHO YOU ARE:

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Civil/Structural/Mechanical qualified (either degree or Diploma/Advanced Diploma) 
  • Experience in water/waste water desirable but not essential
  • Background in Oil and Gas or Food Processing background would also bring transferable skills 
  • What's most important to us is your attitude, commitment, work ethic and ability to integrate into our work culture
  • Strong team focus, consultation, communication and leadership skills
  • Understanding of WHS legislation compliance and management systems
  • Knowledge of quality management systems ISO 9001 and experience managing quality assurance
  • Electronic data management and other relevant computer skills
