AddressProject Engineer
Specialised Welding Australia Pty Ltd has an opportunity for an Project Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis at their Kwinana Beach office. The position requires experience within fabrication and maintenance of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, piping and minor plate and structural works both workshop and site based.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Receive fabrication / maintenance enquiries from client and review for the preparation of estimates and tenders.
· Some general mechanical and design experience is an advantage.
· Utilise existing estimating software and internal spreadsheets.
· Material take-offs and cost estimation of mechanical, piping and pressure vessels / heat exchangers.
· Liaise with clients and suppliers during the tender process.
· Review and understand client specifications.
· Prepare and submit tenders to clients.
· Contract management, administration and preparation of variations.
· Evaluation of supplier estimates.
· Tender documentation control as per the procedure.
Key Requirements:
· 5 years steel fabrication Project Management experience for both workshop fabrication and site installation and maintenance.
· Have a strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Experience in analysing contract terms and conditions.
· Competent knowledge of subcontractors within the projects environment.
· Competencies in Excel, Word, MS Projects.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team and autonomously.
This position is available immediately based in Kwinana Beach; salary is negotiable depending on experience.
