Project Engineer - Food & Beverage

Their commitment to innovation continues today, with significant investments in research and development leading to dozens of new products launched each year.About the role:As the Project Engineer you will work on multiple food and beverage projects and across well-established business units to get the products from manufacturing to client sites for commissioning within the expected time frame and budget. This will include liaising with the sales teams, organising logistics with the Engineering and Supply department and networking with clients. There will be some occasional client site visits and travel. This role is suitable for all Project Engineers with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic or Chemical Engineering.Benefits:

Key responsibilities:

• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing projects
• Detailed design of the P&ID / systems based on flow chart / general process design
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and control the cost to avoid deviation
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
• Liaise with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project
• Select and manage the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
• On site project supervision, participation with commissioning and start up together with internal or external service engineers
• Trouble shooting management during our warranty period

Key selection requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2 - 5 years' experience with project management in a similar industry
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced system
• Business acumen
