About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Engineer who has experience in engineering design and offshore supervision with the installation of offshore and subsea infrastructure. As a Project Engineer for ICON, you will have the opportunity to develop project management skills under the guidance of the Project Managers on a mix of brown field and green field projects in the areas of offshore infrastructure, drilling rig/ platform and equipment design and modifications and field development projects.
About You
- B.Eng. (Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture) and 3+ years of relevant post-graduate engineering experience.
- Project monitoring and auditing experience.
- Proven capability in successfully delivering discrete packages of work including design and subcontractor management for offshore installation scopes.
- Comprehensive understanding of design (including lift rigging, handling aids, production of lift sequence work packs), onshore fabrication, transportation, and installation methods.
- Ability to coordinate the production of deliverables including calculations, specifications, procedures and managing third party submissions and inspections.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DNV, API and AISC codes.
