John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M7 - M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.

With site construction activities having recently commenced, we are seeking a Senior Planner/Senior Planning Engineer to form part of the Planning and Project Controls function across the project. You will be assigned a significant portion of work, responsible for the following tasks

We’re currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work across our Melbourne Water projects. Reporting into the Project Manager, you’ll be accountable for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.

• Management of the civil construction scope of works for projects and ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards
• Provide technical guidance to project team to ensure compliance with construction specifications and standards
• Leading and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in construction planning and objectives
• Maintaining project documentation related to scope of works, including quality documentation, progress reports, risk assessments and plans
• Reporting to management on the progress and status of projects

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
• 3-4 years experience in construction, preferably in the utilities or manufacturing sectors. Water experience highly valued, especially works on pump stations and treatment plants.
• Knowledge of civil construction standards, codes and regulations
• Experience with scoping, tendering, engagement and site management of civil subcontractors
• Strong communication and organisational skills. Able to work and integrate into a team.
