About the role:
In this hands-on operational role, you will undertake project management and planning activities to support the successful execution of Council's construction and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to project timeframes, maintaining quality standards, and manage budgetary constraints effectively.
Join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the seamless implementation of projects, contributing to support the amenity and liveability of Burwood LGA.
Your key focus areas will be:
- Assisting the scheduling, implementation and monitoring of construction and maintenance programs and capital works projects.
- Undertaking inspections, investigations and surveys using best practice methodologies and technologies.
- Managing customer and community requests including inspections and investigations and prepare recommendations and delivery action plans.
- Coordination of contractors and team activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation including project plans, quotes and cost estimates for development and procurement purposes.
- Providing accurate, timely, professional guidance and advice to the Manager as required, with respect to matters likely to affect the delivery of the department's services and functions.
- Undertake research and prepare reports, plans and strategies.
To be successful in this role you will be:
A dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with our team. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are critical to success in this role. You should demonstrate strong technical expertise in civil engineering disciplines within the context of complex service delivery. You will have demonstrated knowledge in asset management principles and systems.

- Salary from $90738 to $108,849 a year plus 11% superannuation plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance
