Grampians Health will be one of the first health services to receive funding to establish new public Women’s Health Clinics.
The Women’s Health Project Facilitator will support the implementation of the proposed model of care for Women’s Health Clinics, to support localised priorities for Grampians Health operations across all campuses.
The core focus of the role is to:
- Establish organisational structures to commence Women’s Health Clinics across Grampians Health in accordance with localised priority of service not accessible in primary care.
- To ensure equitable access to the Women’s Health Clinics ensuring appropriate, culturally safe, affordable care for women as close to home as possible.
- To improve outcomes for women using best practice informed by strong and emerging evidence base and consumer lived experience.
- To establish Women’s Health Clinics that empower women.
Skills and experience
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a clinician
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience providing leadership to improvement projects with evidence of successful outcome.
- An understanding of Women’s Health and emerging evidence regarding gaps in access to women’s health.
