Project Finance Coordinator

Nature of Position: Part-Time, 3 Days a Week

Location: Melbourne (preferred)

Reporting Line: Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter expert on the client work order management process from a financial perspective
• Ensure all documentation is provided for invoicing to client in a timely and accurate manner
• Develop positive relationships with commercial and regional project teams to ensure timely flow of information to facilitate invoicing
• Ensure all sites are fully invoiced within contractual timeframes
• Ensure that any disputed invoices are escalated to the appropriate region for action and follow up to ensure timely resolution
• Be the key contact for the client for invoicing queries
• Review Project Reports to ensure all invoicing milestones are claimed and claimed appropriately in the system
• Continually evaluate and assist the Finance Manager to improve the billing process
• Assist with ad hoc accounts payable tasks
• Assist as necessary in the month end Finance processes including system closes, forecasts, reconciliations, or reporting

Experienced required:

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Processing high volumes of data
• Experience in the reconciliation of supplier or client accounts
• Demonstrated experience of working within a project environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• High level numerical analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear conclusions and recommendations
• Experience with IFS highly regarded but not essential
