Primary Location
Nature of Position: Part-Time, 3 Days a Week
Location: Melbourne (preferred)
Reporting Line: Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert on the client work order management process from a financial perspective
- Ensure all documentation is provided for invoicing to client in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop positive relationships with commercial and regional project teams to ensure timely flow of information to facilitate invoicing
- Ensure all sites are fully invoiced within contractual timeframes
- Ensure that any disputed invoices are escalated to the appropriate region for action and follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Be the key contact for the client for invoicing queries
- Review Project Reports to ensure all invoicing milestones are claimed and claimed appropriately in the system
- Continually evaluate and assist the Finance Manager to improve the billing process
- Assist with ad hoc accounts payable tasks
- Assist as necessary in the month end Finance processes including system closes, forecasts, reconciliations, or reporting
Experienced required:
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Processing high volumes of data
- Experience in the reconciliation of supplier or client accounts
- Demonstrated experience of working within a project environment
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- High level numerical analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear conclusions and recommendations
- Experience with IFS highly regarded but not essential
