This is a new and exciting role within South East Water's Strategy and Stakeholder group. The Strategy and Stakeholder team supports our strategy, regulation, community and stakeholder engagement and communications teams. They are pivotal in developing and delivering on our organisational strategy, partnering with Traditional Owners, leading our approach to water security, and leading our communications both externally and internally. The Project Lead, Sustainability & Integrated Water Management will coordinate and deliver elements of South East Water’s approach to environmental sustainability, climate change mitigation, climate adaptation and reporting.
To make an impact in this role, you’ll have experience working on strategy, policy, projects and/or programs within a large organisation, and ideally have a tertiary qualification in public administration, engineering, environmental science, business, or related discipline. Your experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, along with your engagement skills allow you to work collaboratively, build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders both internally and externally. Your strong communication skills allow you to present and discuss complex technical information at all levels of business. Knowledge of the water industry, environmental reporting and/or natural resources is preferable but not essential.
