The Company

A well-known, corporate bank headquartered overseas with a growing branch presence in Australia, this business has seen consistent growth in the Sydney market and are looking to bring a driven and technically skilled risk & compliance professional into their team.

The Role

As the Project Line 1 Risk Manager, you will play a key role in transformation of the compliance framework for the branch, alongside the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

Your duties would include, but are not limited to:

· Supporting on GRC system implementations and uplift

· Policy and documentation updates

· Developing a comprehensive risk & compliance framework.

· Driving risk culture awareness

· Conducting risk and control self-assessments.

· Reporting to senior management.

· Supporting project governance

· Ad-hoc duties as required

Your Profile

• Strong banking/financial services risk experience within a Line 1 capacity
• Prior risk experience in an APRA regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
