About the Role:
The Project Management Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the PCYC Facilities Project Management Team by providing administrative support across the PCYC Capital Works Program. This role will involve overseeing and delivering administrative aspects of all Capital Works Projects delivered by the PCYC Facilities Department including construction upgrades and renovations across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist PMs with closing out outstanding tasks and meeting administrative deadlines.
- Forecast project timelines and schedules.
- Organize and send communications on behalf of PMs.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings.
- Engage stakeholders following PMs' instructions.
- Monitor and update project dashboards.
- Support the Senior Project Manager with data entry for the PCYC Capital Program Project Plan.
- Assist with budget inquiries and maintain expenditures within budgetary constraints.
- Develop and maintain sustainable relationships internally and externally.
- Ensure compliance with PCYC policies and procedures.
Work Schedule:
Location: Inala
Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Note: Onsite construction work commences between 06:00 AM and 07:30 AM.
Requirements & Skillsets:
Essential:
- Experience in a project administration role or similar role.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability in time management and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant software.
- Eligibility for QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check.
- Willingness to travel across the state as required.
- Current Driver’s License.

- Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
