We are currently seeking for a Sustainability and Environment PMO to join our client in the aviation industry in a hybrid role based at the Airport. You will be responsible for supporting the HO Strategic Development and Sustainability in the Pacific in defining, deploying and drum-beating the definition and deployment of the Sustainability Strategic Roadmap of our client in the Pacific in full cooperation with the clients S&T function in central and the region.
Key Duties will Include:
- Support definition and execution of the sustainability roadmap for our client in the Pacific Region with its key performance indicators to progress and impact
- Define a reporting framework to engage with the regional and GS stakeholders in with the different group objectives and committees
- Support definition and coordination of a local governance to coordinate all sustainability initiatives with local, regional and central stakeholders
- Coordinate the legislation framework per country, monitor evolutions in full cooperation with the GSR team the region and local HR teams
- Identify and manage risk and opportunities linked to sustainability topic roadmaps
- Support sustainability communication plan deployment and coordinate content and events
- Collaborate with Public Affairs to prepare engagements on sustainability related topics in line with the strategic roadmaps
- Define Pacific employees engagement strategic roadmap including the animation of the local sustainability ambassadors in cooperation with GS. HR and Communication functions.
- Coordinate internal audits on related topics with the local teams
Key Criteria:
- Be an experienced project leader, including the ability to interact and coordinate transversal teams, communicate effectively internally and externally, manage schedules and budgets.
- Demonstrated track record of scoping and leading cross-functional projects
- Ability to define governance and reporting frameworks
- Experience navigating complex organisation structures
- Knowledge of sustainability roadmaps and Decarbonisation strategies
- Confident, with good English communications skills and negotiation level of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work in full autonomy while being very organised & communicate achievements
- A considerate team player with a diplomatic and engaging way of working.
- Excellent strategic mindset and operating skills to both define and execute strategic roadmaps while communicating with stakeholders in the group as part of the governance.
- Flexibility to adapt to time differences to work with Europe while engaging with local teams and travel to visit teams and customers, based on initiatives.
