A recognisable brand in the financial services sector with an established presence, the business continues to grow, and are going through an enterprise uplift to ensure compliance with the new APRA prudential standards coming into the market.
The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the risk and compliance maturity uplift, focused on the CPS230 Operational resilience.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Initiating and managing programs and projects to support business change and uplift.
· Establishing a Project Control Committee for CPS230 operational risk project.
· Preparing and managing the project plans across the business related to the uplift.
· Implementing project controls to ensure effective management and transparency.
· Ensuring robust estimation of costs and benefits, managing risks and issues and adhering to compliance obligations

Your Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
· Previous Project Manager/Project Lead experience across financial services.
· Exposure to risk and knowledge of CPS230 requirements
· Knowledge around APRA regulations and industry standards.
· Previous experience with GRC system implementations
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong business partnerships with senior stakeholders.
· Industry knowledge within banking or insurance would be favourable.
