Project Manager
Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day. Reporting to the Site Senior Executive, the Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project management, delivering successful project outcomes on time and within budget and managing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing internal approval processes.
- Develop and maintain the project schedule.
- Develop and maintain the study expenditure.
- Work collaboratively with the mine site management team.
- Manage a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is commercial acumen.
- About you:
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience in the industry with a background in coal processing/project management.
- High interpersonal, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in the industry.
- Focused and results-oriented.
