RACT is embarking on a significant transformation journey, and we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager. We’re looking for someone who can drive delivery of projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the RACT Group. The Project Manager will work across different projects within our Operations division and manage the end to end process from planning through to progressive go-lives, and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the delivery of projects and outcomes within our Operations division including end to end managing, from planning through to progressive go-lives, and benefits realisation. There are several streams of work to be managed.
  • Inspire others by explaining why RACT is pursing the relevant outcomes. Drive delivery of outcomes proactively and build a broad base of support across the Group to help with change adoption.
  • Professional project management including user story and requirements definition through to implementation of process and technology change, developing scopes, schedules, dependencies, budgets, and implementation plans, risk and issue identification and proactive management.
  • Day to day, align project activity with business goals, ensuring the delivery teams prioritise the most important work items.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communicate clear progress updates to stakeholders. Proactively request support as needed and share the impact of risks and issues. 
  • Manage the interdependencies between streams/teams, working to ensure agreed milestones are achieved.
  • Work collaboratively and transparently with stakeholders to shape solutions and solve problems.
  • Work with stakeholders to manage the change and successfully deliver projects into operations.
  • Engage and manage vendors as required.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience in successfully project managing impactful projects. 
  • Skills in project planning, management and delivery.
  • Proactive and able to make recommendations, to navigate ambiguity, and where appropriate make autonomous decisions.
  • Skills and experience with a variety of project methodologies including agile and waterfall. Able to work with a hybrid project framework and recommend optimal approach per situation.
  • Highly developed hybrid working skills and ability to motivate staff in person and remotely.
  • Expert communication and negotiation skills, experienced in working from C-Level to front line.
  • Highly developed awareness of good practice Steering Committee and PMO governance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage and lead change.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a high performing matrix teams and role model a collaborative culture.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen and a conceptual understanding of RACT services.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
