We currently have an opportunity for a Perth-based Project Manager to join our site service team and provide support on various mine sites in the WA region. In this role you will manage the delivery of Shutdown maintenance services, capital equipment and upgrade services, ensuring our projects are completed in line with contracted delivery times, meet quality requirements. This is both a Perth based and subsequent site-based role and will require regular periods of time on site.
Job responsibilities
- Leading OH&S in line with the target of zero injuries.
- Ensuring jobs are planned, scheduled, coordinated, invoiced, and closed out within the set timeframe.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective performances of jobs are completed to high standard.
- Proactively liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors for job planning and performance.
- Assist with coordinating the efforts of Site Service personnel.
- Fulfilling the internal and external reporting functions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with the development and financial growth of the Services Division.
- Adherence to compliance requirements with the Services department filing and communication protocols.
- liaise with Site Supervisors to ensure day to day tasks are undertaken in a proficient and safe manner.
What you bring
- Trade Qualified with Project Management experience essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in an engineering or end-to-end OEM production environment would be desirable.
- Previous experience and understanding in Pit to Port processing equipment including, Crushers, Mills, various Ore processing facilities will be highly regarded.
- Quality Conscience, knowledge of ISO 9000 an advantage.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills in order to work with customers, contractors and other personnel on a daily basis.
- Flexibility to travel interstate and overseas.
