Arthritis Australia is a national not-for-profit charity and the peak national organisation for people with arthritis in Australia. We are dedicated to improving quality-of-life for the millions of Australians living with arthritis through education, programs and advocacy. We also fund world-class research to increase our knowledge of arthritis and find better ways to prevent, treat and hopefully cure the condition in its many forms.
A little more about the Role
- Work across a wide variety of project types – examples include engaging consumers/patients in critical research, Indigenous health and being part of the team developing of our Reconciliation Action Plan.
- Manage allocated projects to ensure they are delivered within scope, on time and on budget.
- Build effective working relationships with all parties involved in the delivery of the projects, including external delivery partners, content development teams and expert advisory groups to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Develop and implement plans to support effective collaboration across all parties.
- Identify and manage project issues and risks.
- Prepare and submit project deliverables to the funding organisation(s) in line with grant agreements.
- 20 hours/week (salary pro rata), flexible on when you work and from where, office, hybrid or WFH are all possibilities; for an initial 1 year contract.
Experience that would help you in this role:
- Proven skills in managing and successful delivery of complex projects
- Managing government-funded projects
- Working in the health sector, research, Indigenous health or not-for-profit organisations
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or 4+ years relevant work experience

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of external teams and partners.
