NTEX P/L are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our high performing team.
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of various civil remediation and demolition projects including quality assurance, supplier management, work health and safety and client & stakeholder liaison.
The ability to lead, organise, plan and manage teams is essential for this position. You must be able to problem solve, work under pressure, show initiative and have thorough understanding of relevant legislations & ISO compliance.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Consistently deliver high quality work whilst adhering to contract timelines, including the resourcing and scheduling of manpower, services and equipment.
- Actively manage and direct staff and sub-contractors providing instruction, guidance, and support as needed.
- Maintain project registers accurately and efficiently in line with company ISO compliance requirements.
- Process variations, requests for information (RFIs) and prepare progress payment claims.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, including revenue, budgeting, forecasting, and optimisation.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all accreditations, relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards with a focus on Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance.
Who We Are Looking For?
We are looking for a professional and committed Project Manager who has:
- Minimum 5 years’ civil construction and demolition project management experience with extensive practical on-site experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively read and interpret drawings and contract documentation.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety, environment, quality, and sustainability.
- Construction industry competency tickets.
- The successful candidate will need to pass a police check and be eligible for a DCAC pass.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Construction Induction - White card
What we are offering?
6-month fixed term contract.
Company Vehicle, Work Phone and Laptop
Commencing salary of $120,000 + superannuation, negotiable dependent on experience.
Location: Darwin and surrounding areas.
