The Bakers Delight Projects department are seeking a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic store development Project Manager to join the team.
Based in Camberwell, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of the updated bakery design for new, relocated and refurbished bakeries across the entire Bakers Delight portfolio, on behalf of our Franchisees. This includes looking after projects from concept, design, and construction all the way through to handover and completion while managing both the financial budget and timeline.
This is a fast-paced, highly-regarded role within our organisation and we are seeking someone who is passionate about store fit outs, delivering excellent customer service and has proven experience influencing key internal and external stakeholders such as Councils, Franchisees and Landlord representatives.
This role requires regular travel throughout Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating potential sites, alongside our Property Department, from a design & construction viewpoint.
- Developing a bakery layout plan for the design and delivery of the bakeries being refurbished/built, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.
- Managing the project elements such as design and construction processes, including amendments, handover and defects/defect period.
- Developing, monitoring and reporting on the capital expenditure budget for all projects.
- Facilitating the works program for each bakery fitout, including any amendments to the program, equipment selection, and supplier selection.
- Developing partnerships with external Project Managers, centre managers, architects, suppliers and contractors to ensure design quality and cost control.
Working in a close knit team with a strong project management background, you will have the support and guidance to learn and develop your career further. Your ability to make things happen quickly, correctly and accurately, as well as your strong customer service skills, will hold you in good stead for this role. Remuneration is commensurate with experience.
