We're looking for an experienced, purpose driven Treatment Plant Projects, Project Manager to join our team.

The Role
The Treatment PlantProject Manager will contribute to the successful delivery of our program by safely and efficiently delivering projects in accordance with defined standards, time frames and budgets, and ensure projects satisfy customer, environmental, safety and regulatory requirements by managing project interfaces and developing strong contractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage the delivery of Treatment Plant Projects from design through to commissioning, in line with our policies, procedures, business rules, priorities and expected behaviors
- Carry out all work in such a way as to protect their own health and safety and that of their fellow workers, contractors and public
- Develop working relationships with stakeholders to deliver "best for community" outcomes
- Liaise with stakeholders, including members of the public, on project related, sometimes sensitive, issues
- Respond to customer queries about projects located in their area
- Contribute towards the development of project plans, particularly project audit plans
- Review, and provide comment on, the design of assets
- Initiate audit observations and corrective actions
- Provide accurate project status and financial reports
- Liaise with Councils and Government Departments
About you
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or Project Management
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card) would be ideal.
- Demonstrated understanding of Treatment Plants or other water and/or sewage facilities would be desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills in dealing with key stakeholders including senior management, customers, consultants, contractors, regulators and committees.
- Experience in managing all documents, policies and procedures, standards and specifications.
- Experience in developing strategies, analysis, and efficiency improvements.

- The annual salary, depending on experience, for a full-time position ranges between $98,000 to $114,000 with an additional 11.5% superannuation. For Chartered engineers or those nearing completion of their certification, the salary commences at $119,000 and above
