Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, execution, and delivery of a major Overland Conveyor System project alongside the ACE Engineering team.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors, and the customer to ensure project success.
- Oversee all project programs and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Manage project finances meticulously, including cost control and accurate reporting to maintain budget compliance.
- Ensure high-quality project delivery, including design, products, and services.
- Maintain effective client communication and robust document control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and manage project risks to minimize disruptions.
- Develop and maintain a Project/Quality Management System to assure superior products and services.
- Foster a positive work environment, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their growth in project management best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Technical qualifications necessary for project management in engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in overseeing large-scale projects, preferably in Design and Construct (D&C) contracts within the mining sector.
- Strong understanding of conveyor system design and operational principles.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project) for effective project oversight.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication.
- Ability to maintain client satisfaction and uphold a reputation for service excellence.
- Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field preferred.
