Project Manager

YES Group (SA) Pty Ltd is an innovative South Australian company, providing turnkey energy solutions. We operate a large team of personnel offering services such as Large Scale Solar & Battery Projects, Energy Retailing and High Voltage Installations across Australia.

We are excited to announce we are expanding our Construction Team and are seeking an experienced Project Manager. 
The role will ideally suit an experienced Project Manager or Site Manager with experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wider range of stakeholders. 
This is a full-time position based in our Adelaide office.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Director, Project Development Manager, Construction Manager, and key external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and scope of works. 
• Lead project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory bodies, contractors, suppliers, and network service providers.
• Manage project risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure that projects are delivered in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize project performance and reduce costs.
• Ensure that projects meet all financial and performance targets.
• Driving the finalisation of all relevant project approvals and then implementing them.
• Implementation of the Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) System and Project Construction Management Plan (CMP).
• Managing financial controls within the Project Budget.
• Updating and maintaining of Project GANTT.
• Project handover control.
• Ensuring projects are resourced as per estimations.
• Managing and administering variations to clients when required.
• Internal and external project based reporting.

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of experience in a Project Management Role or Site Management Role.
• Working knowledge of relevant software packages (i.e., MS Project, etc).
• Ability to be highly organised, work under pressure and still meet deadlines.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Desirable:

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management.
• Experience in liaising with Network Service Providers (NSP’s).
• Certified electrician or proven electrical background.
• High Voltage experience.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry trends, codes and regulatory requirements.
