Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Airports and Specialised Pavements team. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects across the country ensuring safety, cost and quality meet contract specifications. The position is ideally suited to candidates with extensive experience in Asphalt, Surfacing & Paving. This role will have a strong focus on Airports and Racetracks projects and will require national travel. This role can be based out of our Melbourne or Hobart office.

ABOUT YOU

• You will have qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and have exposure in airports, racetrack, civil road construction or road maintenance
• A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and developing new business opportunities
• Strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
• Demonstratable experience leading teams
• A well-developed understanding of planning, execution and financial reporting of projects
• The ability to manage projects from start to finish
• National travel will be required
• Commitment to quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time
• Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
