Your day to day will consist of...
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the management of the Reporting function including:
- Responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely monthly reporting packs, statutory financial reporting and regulatory returns
- Support the end to end delivery of the Optus statutory audit and related group and Audit Committee reporting.
- Establish, maintain accounting policies across Optus
- Responsible for the delivery of monthly accurate and timely statutory financial reporting and regulatory returns, in both SGAAP and AGAAP.
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group, as well as entity financial statements, annexures, and notes.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Reporting function, identifying areas for enhancement in processes, systems, and controls to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
What makes you perfect for the role?
- Degree qualified within Commerce, Business or Accounting with a CA / CPA
- Solid understanding of SAP4HANA / TM1/PowerBI/ O365
- Prior experience in large and/or corporate organisation
- Experience within a Financial Accounting role
