Larkin Byrne offers a range of professional services including project management. We facilitate results for communities through feasibility studies, planning, scoping, design and delivery. We are currently delivering projects in very unique locations such as Tiwi Islands and Litchfield National Park. The examples of the type of work includes housing, commercial buildings and infrastructure. We are looking for a Project Manager to work with us on new projects and help us to continue to grow our business.
The Role
This role is an opportunity to visit and deliver projects in very unique locations such as Tiwi Islands and Litchfield National Park. The Project Manager will work in our office located in Winnellie and support senior Project Managers and project directors. The key tasks that the role will undertake include:
- Planning and monitoring projects
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Problem solving and advice to assist clients to manage competing project objectives
- Contract management including preparation of procurement documentation and administration
- Preparing and updating project management plans, schedules, risk registers and reports
- Organising and coordinating tasks for staff and sub-consultants
- Site visits for meetings and inspections
About You
Ideally you will have:
- Experience managing projects (building, infrastructure or community)
- Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Understanding of project management principles
- Desire to work on projects that are delivered in remote communities
- Ability to visit remote locations
