About the role
Exceptional opportunity for a seasoned customer facing Project Manager to join the team at Civica. As a Project manager, you will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing medium to large projects. Your focus would be on working on software implementation projects and liaising with various stakeholders in different locations to deliver an excellent customer service.
This role is open for Victoria and Queensland locations as well.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for planning and directing the information processing activities of the team and coordinate the effective design, implementation, and operation of information systems and applications
· Strong communication skills and experience presenting and liaising with at C-Suite level.
· Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
· Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
· Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
· Maintain budget information, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
· Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
· Identify, plan and manage risks for complex projects and development of mitigation strategies
· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
· Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
About you
You’re an experienced Project Manager who is skilled in development projects implementing software. A true team player and collaborator whose communication skills ensures effective interactions between customers and a cross functional team. Our ideal candidate has experience with managing multiple projects, dependencies, and risks. You will be having a PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent certification. Experience working with the medical industry will be well regarded.
