Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating, project managing, scheduling, and overseeing general administration tasks to ensure the smooth execution of carpentry projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate project estimations, considering materials, labour, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with our Supervisor, leading hands, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality control.
- Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as invoicing, procurement, and client communications.
- Communicate with accounts to ensure on time payments to subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior contract administrator or Estimator in the construction or carpentry industry.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
