Description
You will be responsible for orchestrating the safe and effective implementation of civil and Disaster Recovery initiatives, this role oversees all aspects of project delivery, including feasibility assessments, design processes, permit acquisition, contract administration, quality control, and adherence to project-specific criteria. This role will manage projects between Orange and Condobolin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently allocate resources and manage competing demands across multiple sites and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure adherence to Safety and Quality Management System requirements throughout project execution.
- Identify and communicate project risks and solutions to clients, showcasing your expertise and client-centric approach.
- Monitor project activities and data, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to best practices.
- Coordinate project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Facilitate site mobilisation and demobilisation to ensure timely deployment of resources.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, cultural heritage, and quality management plans and legislation.
- Provide regular reporting on financial, HR, QA, and WHS matters, highlighting key issues for management review.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive financial and program management performance reports to clients and management.
Profile
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, overseeing project delivery and ensuring compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications or Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or project management.
- Proven track record of managing diverse teams across multiple sites.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines across various projects.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues, and negotiating.
- Proficient in numeracy, written and verbal communication, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and standards.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification and Construction Industry Induction Certificate (White Card).
- Possession of a valid C Class driver's license
- Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or project management (desirable)
- Registered Professional Engineer (desirable)
