Our client is a Tier 1 specialist contractor with a complex range of projects across roads, utilities, bridges, resources and industrial. This organisation is a leading international civil contractor who has been successfully delivering projects for over 40 years. Due to continued success in their SA office they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a number of projects across roads and structures.
The Role:
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of several projects whilst demonstrating teamwork, discipline and initiative. You will lead by example and foster excellent client relationships to maintain repeat business.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing the project from inception through to completion including cost management, scheduling and budget control
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure project and construction programmes are according to schedule
- Project and financial reporting
- Leading the project team to ensure effective and timely delivery of projects
- Risks reports
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Liaising and coordinating with clients and sub-contractors
The Individual:
You will have a degree in an engineering related field with proven experience as a Project Manager managing projects upwards of $10M in value, ideally within the civil engineering sector. You will be an effective communicator with proven leadership skills.
